Our farm helpers attend the farm at least one day a week, although some attend more often. A ‘typical’ day on the farm is based on the real work that needs completing an as such there is really no such thing as a ‘typical day’! Jobs include
- Feed and water the animals
- Turn out animals
- Muck out stalls
- Clean out the chickens
- Collection of eggs
- Animal Grooming
- Help unload hay and stack
- Water seed trays in polytunnel
- Plant out vegetables
- Tidy support buildings
- Painting barns & buildings
- Make raised beds
- Sweep yard
- Cut the grass
- Moving animals
- Fence & Hedging
- Clipping feathers
- Walk the dogs
- Assist with tagging the lambs
- Sweep feed room
