Meet the OCCF Team
At Oldbury Cottage Care Farm CIC, our dedicated team is the heart of everything we do. Passionate about making a difference, we bring together a diverse range of skills and experience to create a welcoming, supportive, and enriching environment for everyone who visits the farm.
From animal care specialists to community support workers, each team member plays a vital role in delivering our mission of providing therapeutic farming experiences. We believe in the power of nature, meaningful connections, and hands-on learning to inspire growth and well-being.

I am a motivated person wanting to see others achieve the best they can and enjoy what they are doing through nature and animals. I work best with a mug of tea and cake!

After graduating from Bath Spa University, I took my knowledge of drama and performance to people with learning disabilities. I have over 15 years of experience of working with vulnerable adults, helping them gain important life skills.

I have worked with children & young adults with SEND for nearly 10 years. When I am not working at OCCF, I am at home on our own farm with my husband, 4 children, 3 dogs, 5 cats, 2 goats, a pony, and a pig, as well as beef cattle, chickens and ducks.

Hey, I’m Francesca, I have worked with adults with learning disabilities and dementia since 2012 and before that I was a teaching assistant in secondary school. I am a huge Elivis Presely and Amy Winehouse fan so I plan to bring a lot of singing to the farm.

I have previous experience in both the public and private sector advocacy and support. I keep things ticking along in the background dealing with all thing’s admin on the Farm – this enables all our attendees to fully enjoy their time on the Farm.

Hi! I have experience of supporting Learning Disabled Adults. I love animals and the outdoors, and I am also a horse-riding instructor.

Hello! I used to help with Riding for the Disabled Association lessons locally and I joined the farm team because of the much-needed provision if offers for residents of Nuneaton and the villages. I work in education and know how important it is for everyone to be able to learn in a practical and supported way.

Hello! I’ve worked supporting adults with special needs since 1996, including supporting an attendee to access OCCF and loved the whole experience of the social, learning and practicality of time on the farm. In September 2024 I became support staff on the farm and love it, even the mucking out!

Sally is a cheerful farm dog with bright eyes and a wagging tail that never seems to stop. She spends her days racing across the fields and keeping an eye on the sheep. Loyal, clever and full of energy, Sally is the heart of the farm and always ready to help.

Ever the philosopher, Piglet believes the best way to support care farming is through the profound art of purr, snooze, and expert-level relaxation — all delivered with a tortoiseshell-glamourpanache.

I’m Natalie and the proud mum of a Learning-Disabled adult who attends OCCF. With a background in Education and Special Educational Needs I aim to support OCCF to develop and grow, and I hope that all those who come here are able to realise their individual potentials.

Hello, my name is Elizabeth, I have worked in the creative industry for 14 years and the education sector for 9 years. My passion is creating positive experiences for people and helping them grow in confidence. I love anything to do with History and can tell you an interesting fact or two

Hi, I am the father of a gentleman who has autism and learning difficulties. I have been involved in supporting people with learning difficulties for many years including, being a school governor at a local junior school with responsibility for SEND and involvement with Nuneaton Mencap for a number of years.
