What a surprise, eight days early and with no problems the first lambs of the year have been born at Oldbury Cottage Care Farm. A girl and a boy (ewe and tup) arrived just before storm Freya was due to be on us. Whilst writing this the winds were blowing the straw around the farm but all three are safe in the warm barn.
I hope they find my bone soon:-/
The build starts with us having to dig down to get rid of 30 years of sheep manure. Full speed ahead!
